When should I order a cake?

Pre-Orders only. All of our desserts/cakes are made to order. 

We will release available time slots on the order page and you can choose your preferred pickup date & time. For large orders, we require orders to be placed at least 2 weeks in advance.



Cake Ordering Process

After placing an order, you will receive a follow up “ORDER  CONFIRMATION” email that contains our pickup address & instructions.  
* Your order is confirmed and will be ready for pickup on your selected date. If you have not received an order confirmation email within 1-2 days, please check your spam/junk mail folder. If it’s not there, please contact us by email hello@leauxnbloom.com.


How long can the cake be kept for?

Our desserts/cakes are best to be consumed on the day of pickup.

Designer Cakes / Cupcakes: Cakes are to be refrigerated for up to 3 days covered in a box.

 *Before serving, allow the cake to rest at room temperature for at least 30min-1hr. The buttercream should be the consistency of room temperature butter for the best texture. Cakes can remain at room temperature for up to 2 hrs, however, avoid putting it in direct sunlight as it may lose its structure due to softened buttercream.

Madeleines / Mix & Match Boxes: Can be kept sealed at room temperature for 4 days or in the refrigerator for up to 6 days. 

Classic Cakes: Can be kept sealed at room temperature for 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. 

*It is recommended to allow the French Lemon Glazed Cake and Ruby Black Tea Pound Cake to sit at room temperature for at least an hour before serving, in order to maximize its fluffy and soft texture.



Allergy Cautions 

Please understand that we are a small-scaled home baking studio. Ingredients are processed using the same equipment for eggs, soy, wheat, milk, nut, etc.  Although we implement strict processes to prevent cross-contamination, there may still be the presence of allergens.


Do you have gluten free, dairy free, or vegan cakes?

Currently, all of our cakes feature cake flour, dairy items (e.g. eggs, butter, and cream) and do not provide alternative ingredients. In the future, we hope to provide customers with more options.


Dublin Studio Pickup 

Pickup at our studio on Central Parkway, Dublin 94568. Address detail will be provided in your order confirmation email. When you pick up at our studio, we'll bring the dessert/cake out to you.



Partner Store Pickup

We have partnered with HubOn by Gardeneur and deliver our dessert/cake throughout the Bay Area. You can easily place an order via our website and pickup the dessert/cake from your nearest local store.

For a flat $5 delivery fee will be automatically added to your cart at checkout. No minimum order required! Your order may be delivered a day early for pickup and will be kept in the refrigerator until you pick it up. You will receive a text notification once your order is ready for pick up. Do you ship your cakes?

Currently, our services are only available for local pickup.


What happens if no one is present to pickup the cake?

Please ensure the contact person is reachable and present for pickup. If no one present or contactable on the pickup date, Leaux & Bloom Patisserie reserves the right to cancel the order. No refunds will be made for cancellation.
